The story behind

My story began about 20 years ago when I was in my mid-twenties. After 8 years of marriage and 4 kids I wanted to spice up our marriage and heard introducing toys was a great way to do that. I come from a very religious culture and didn’t want my mom or my kids to know that I was going to be a “dildo lady” so My Intimate Secret was born. I was gung ho at the beginning and loved every minute of it meeting new people and doing a lot of in home parties but when I decided to go back to school my business got put on hold. Fast forward about 15 years watching my son and 3 daughters growing into the amazing strong willed and outspoken humans I was raising them to be I knew I wanted them to be proud of who they were. I didn’t want them to be ashamed of their bodies or be the quiet wall-flowers that I was raised to think girls were supposed to be, although now I realize I should have found a happy medium in there somewhere because sometimes they share a bit too much! (But secretly I really do love it!) I can never express how proud I am to have raised 3 women who are outspoken and who will fight for what they believe in and who will fight for their beliefs and feelings.  Women who love stronger and louder than ever. A man who is proud to have his daughter paint his toenails. A man who lets his son play with dolls and dinosaurs all in the same day. It is because of them that I am proud to say I have expanded My Intimate Secret with my daughter Megan. This is going to be quite the adventure for this mom/daughter team!!
